NICE ANTIQUE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER CREAM JUG, HALLMARKED BIRMINGHAM.
A nice, antique, English Sterling Silver cream Jug made in Birmingham and dating from c1919/20.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the anchor Birmingham town mark and date letter "U" for 1919/200. Unfortunately the maker's mark is worn.
A very nice jug in good condition, however there are some very minor indents consistent with age and normal use.
The jug measures 120mm from spout to handle. It measures 70mm in height.
The weight is 140.9g/4.96oz/4.52ozt.
