A GOOD RARE ANTIQUE SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL SILVER LADLE, WILLIAM WHITECROSS ABERDEEN,A very nice Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy or Sauce Ladle by William Whitecross, Aberdeen c1830.
William Whitecross is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1824 - 1840.
The ladle is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WW" for William Whitecross" and "A.B.D.N" the Aberdeen town mark.
It measures 6 1/4" inches (160mm) in length. The weight is 31.4g.
It is in excellent condition. A lovely item for the antique silver collector.
