A RARE, ANTIQUE, E. HOWARD & Co, BOSTON, USA, GOLD FILLED POCKET WATCH, 17 JEWELS,
A good example of a gentleman's E Howard & Co., Boston USA., Gold Filled Pocket Watch dating from c1910.
The watch is in good working order.
The movement is signed by the maker "E Howard & Co., Boston, USA" and also "17 Jewels, Adjusted".
The white enamel dial is also signed by the maker "Howard". The hours are in Roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock. The dial in good condition.
The glass is in good condition, however there is a crack at six o'clock as can be seen in the photos.
The watch has a good, gold filled case, in good condition, but does have a few minor indents (see photo). It is stamped with the maker's trade mark for the Crescent Watch Case Company and is of good quality their "Crescent" model warranted for 25 years.
The watch measures 50mm across the case. The weight is 96.5g.
