Description

A very nice, Antique, George III, English Silver Snuff Box. The box was made in Birmingham and dates from c1805.
It is hallmarked on the inside of the lid and base with the maker's mark "IS" for John Shaw, the Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the date letter "h" for 1805/06.
The box engraved decoration to all sides.
The box measures approximately 72mm x 44mm x 17mm. The weight is 53.3g
It is in excellent overall condition.
