Description

A very good quality, Gentleman's Antique 18CT Gold Pocket Watch, made by Rotherham & Sons and dating from c1902.
The watch is in very good overall condition and in working order.
The English made, heavy, 18CT gold case is in very good condition. It is hallmarked with maker's mark "JR" for Rotherham & Sons (John Rotherham), the "crown" and "18" for 18 carat gold, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "C" for 1902/03. The case is in very good overall condition.
The English Lever movement is in working order. It is stem wound and pin set.
The dial is in excellent condition, see photo. It has Roman numerals for the hours and a sub seconds dial at six o'clock.
The watch measures approximately 51mm in diameter (excuding stem and bow ring).
