Description

A nice, Antique, Scottish Silver mounted Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1850.
The snuff mull is of conventional form, the lid with an applied disc to the centre engraved with the original owner's initials. The hinge in the form of a Scottish thistle.
The silver band at the top of the mull engraved with the original owner's name "Peter Macdonald".
In good condition, the mounts would benefit from a light polish if desired, as can be seen.
The silver mounts unmarked as is the norm, therefore selling as white metal.
This mull measures approximately 3 1/2" inches (80mm) in length.
