Description

A very good quality, large, Sterling Silver Scottish Quaich made by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh.
This Quaich is of a larger size, it is plain silver and has not been engraved, therefore would be worthy of consideration should you be looking for a silver trophy or a presentation piece.
The Quaich was assayed in Edinburgh, it is hallmarked with the maker's mark "H&I" for Hamilton & Inches, the Lion Rampant Sterling Silver mark, the Edinburgh castle town mark and date letter "C" for 1977. It also has the Queens Head (Queen Elizabeth II) to mark the Queens Silver Jubilee in 1977.
The Quaich measures 7" inches (177mm) in diameter (across the bowl) and measures just over 10" inches (257mm) in width across the lugs.
It stands 2 3/4" inches (66mm) in height.
The weight is 357.4g/12.60oz/11.49ozt
It is in excellent condition with very minimal light scratches in the bowl.
