Description

A good, Antique, Scottish Silver mounted Ram's Horn Snuff Mull dating from c1834.
The snuff mull is of conventional form, the domed silver lid with a central agate cabochon.
The silver lid of the mull engraved with a presentation inscription:
Presented by the Hamilton Horticultural Society to Mr Matthew Gardner as a mark of respect, 1834"
The body of the mull in good condition, there are a couple of minor indents to the lid as can be seen.
The silver mounts unmarked as is the norm, therefore selling as white metal.
This mull measures approximately 3 1/4" inches (90mm) in length.
