Description

A Scottish Pair (Double) Cased Pocket Watch by James Walker of Aberdeen, Scotland.
This watch is NOT in working order therefore being sold as in need of repair/restoration.
The English Silver double case hallmarked with the maker's mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the London town mark and date letter "P" for 1850/51. Both inner and outer cases in good condition.
The dial is in good condition (the seconds hand is missing.
The fusee movement is signed with the makers name "Jas. Walker, Aberdeen" and serial number.
The outer case has an old watchmaker's paper inside from William Petrie of New Deer in Aberdeenshire.
A nice old watch for the collector, but will need repair if to be brought back to working order.
