Description

A very nice, plain silver, George VI, English Sterling Silver Bowl made by Wakely & Wheeler in London and dating from c1944.
The bowl is hallmarked with the maker's mark "W&W" Wakely & Wheeler, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "I" for 1944/45.
It has engraved initials to the front under an armorial crest.
It is in very nice condition.
It measures approximately 4 1/4" inches (107mm) in diameter and 2" inches (50mm) in height. The weight is 127.8g/4.51oz/4.11ozt.
