Description

A very good, antique Victorian Scottish University Athletics Medal dating from c1892.
The medal engraved "Edinburgh University Athletic Club".
It was awarded for "Fresh Men, 220 Yards" and was won by "R Hutchison 1892".
Although the medal, in my opinion appears to be silver, it is not hallmarked, therefore selling as white metal.
The circular medal measures approximately 34mm in diameter. The weight is 18.5g
It is in excellent condition.
