A vintage, Silver Scottish Celtic Penannular Plaid style Brooch made by John Grinsell & Sons Birmingham.The rear of the brooch hallmarked with the maker's mark "JG&S" for John Grinsell & Sons, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham town mark and date letter "L" for 1935/36.
The slightly oval shape measures 42mm x 38mm.
