A vintage Scottish Silver Celtic Penannular Plaid Brooch made by Henderson & Horner Bros of Buchanan Street, Glasgow and dating from c1941.The rear of the brooch hallmarked with the maker's mark "H&HBrs" for Henderson & Horner Brothers, the Lion Rampant Scottish sterling silver mark, the Glasgow town mark and date letter "s" for 1941/42.
It measures 2 1/4" inches (57mm) in diameter.
