The second medal in gold with a rugby player depicted in enamel to the centre. The rear hallmarked with the maker's mark "WWC", "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter "z" for 1924/25.

The history of the recipient of the medals worthy of further research.
There is a W Renilson listed in the record of the Jedburgh Border Games as winner of the Jedforest Handicap Sprint in the years 1921 and 1925.
The medals come in a small cardboard box from Alex Kirkwood & Son, Medalist, Edinburgh who probably supplied them originally. This firm still in existence today.
