A good quality, very heavy, antique, Edwardian English Sterling Silver Pocket Watch Albert Chain. The chain with graduated curb links.
The albert chain T-Bar hallmarked with the maker's mark "PPLd" Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd and also the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark and date letter "b", there is not a town mark but this would be Birmingham c1901/02. The end clip also hallmarked with the maker's mark "PPLd" Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd and also the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark. Each link of the chain also hallmarked with the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark.

The total weight of the chain is 66.5g.

The total length is 14 1/2" inches (370mm), including end clip.
