Description

A very good quality pair of English Sterling Silver Wine Labels for "WHISKY" and "BRANDY" made by C J Vander Ltd in London and dating from c1975.
The labels are cast depicting a fisherman with rod & line catching a salmon.
They are both hallmarked with the maker's mark "CJVLd" for C J Vander Ltd, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "A" for 1975.
They are of excellent quality, a good heavy gauge of silver.
The labels measure 55mm x 40mm. The total weight is 63.4g.
