Description

A rare set of six George I, Hanoverian Pattern, English Silver Dessert Spoons made by Thomas Mann in London and dating from 1721.
They are hallmarked with the makers' mark "TM" for Thomas Mann, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "F" for 1721/22.
They have an armorial crest to the terminals.
They measure 7 3/4" inches (195mm) in length. The total weight is 281.9g/9.94oz/9.06ozt.
The spoons are in very good condition but do have some minor wear to the bowls as can be expected given they are nearly 300 years old !
