A good quality, heavy, English Sterling Silver Sauce or Gravy Boat made by Barker Brothers and dating from c1936.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "BBSLd" for Barker Brothers Silver Ltd, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the "anchor" Birmingham town mark and date letter "M" for 1936/37.
This is a good, heavy gauge, silver sauce boat in excellent condition.
It measures 7 " inches (175mm) in length.
The weight is 311.4g/10.98oz/10.01ozt
