Description

A very good quality Antique, Victorian, English Sterling Silver Tray, Salver or Waiter made by Z Barraclough & Sons and dating from c1900.
The tray is raised on three ball and claw feet. It has a lovely beaded edge and a shield shaped cartouche to the centre that is free of engraved initials.
The tray is hallmarked on the underside with the maker's mark "JHB/HB" for Z Barraclough & Sons (James Henry & Herbert Barraclough), the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Sheffield "crown" town mark and date letter "h" for 1900/01. Also stamped 4547/G2878.
