Description

A very good quality, large, heavy, English Sterling Silver Cream Jug made by Walker & Hall, Sheffield and dating from c1919.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "W&H" for Walker & Hall, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the "crown" Sheffield town mark and date letter "b" for 1919/20. The underside also stamped "Walker & Hall, Sheffield" under the "W&H" flag trade mark. There is also the number 64461.
It measures 6" inches (150mm) in width (handle to spout) and 2 1/4" inches (55mm) in height. It is approx. 4" inches (105mm) in diameter at the widest point.
The weight is 182g/6.41oz/5.85ozt
In excellent condition, no damage, dents nor repairs, showing very little signs of wear.
