Scottish Silver Sword Letter Opener H&I Edinburgh

Description
A vintage Scottish Silver "Sword" Letter Opener made by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh and dating from c1964/65.The solid silver blade hallmarked with the maker's mark "H&I" for Hamilton & Inches, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the castle Edinburgh town mark and date letter for 1964/65.
It is in very good overall condition, but there is a thin split to the handle (see photo).
