Description

A rare and unusual Antique, Victorian large Coffee Pot made by Edward & John Barnard of London and dating from 1864/65.
The coffee pot is engraved all over in the Persian manner.
It is hallmarked on the base with the maker's mark "EB&JB" for Edward & John Barnard, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the Lion Passant silver mark alongside the Leopard's Head town mark for London and date letter "i" for 1864/65. It is also stamped with the retailer's mane "Charles Taylor & Son, Bristol".
It measures approximately 10 1/2" inches (270mm) in height.
The weight is 28oz.
It is in very good condition.
