A rare Scottish Provincial Silver Soup Ladle made by Joseph Pearson of Dumfries and dating from c1800.The ladle has the maker's mark "IP" for Joseph Pearson alongside the stag's head, anchor and letter "e". It has the initials "RS" on the handle.
