A very good, rare Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made in Banff by William Simpson.William Simpson is recorded as working in Banff c1825-1855.
The ladle is marked with the Maker's Mark "WS" for William Simpson, the "thistle" mark and Letter "B" for Banff.
It has the initial "M" engraved on the handle.
