Description

A substantial and highly practical country oak housekeeper’s cupboard (also known as a larder or press cupboard), dating to the early 19th century.

This impressive piece features double recessed panel doors above, opening to reveal generous internal shelving, over a bank of six drawers – ideal for kitchen storage, linens, or general household use. It retains period-style brass drop handles with decorative backplates and has developed a rich, natural aged patina over time.

A handsome and functional statement piece that would sit beautifully in a farmhouse kitchen, period home, or character interior.

Construction Details:
• Solid oak with visible quarter-sawn grain to the doors
• Four-panel recessed doors
• Decorative brass drop handles
• Moulded overhanging cornice
• Plinth base with shaped cut-out feet
