This is a fantastic 1930s Art Deco writing bureau of small proportions, a really superb piece of furniture. Veneered in a lovely figured walnut 'Flame Grain' with three drawers to the base and a pull down top reveals a desk area with slots for envelopes and a little drawer for pens. The resting area is lined in leather, this comes with a working key so you can lock the top. Still retains it's original chrome bar handles. Overall shape is lovely with a cloud shape to the top and fretted out plinth. The whole piece has been newly and professionally French polished and so is great condition. A great piece of furniture if space is an issue and a charming focal point to any room. Ideal size for laptops. All drawers open smoothly and without effort. This piece definitely won't disappoint.
