The lid has an inlaid sunray effect in blonde and dark wood veneers of oak and ebony macassar . The interior is an absolute marvel of surprise with a three tiered cigarette holder which is also patterned with the sunray design as is the inside of the lid of the box. Lovely little detailing like the chrome removable ashtrays, it's just a great box and so iconic of this era that anyone who loves this period regardless of they smoke or not will adore this item.
