Description

This great quality Antique desk was made by reputable Glasgow cabinet maker Francis Smith,
The desk has a detachable top with original tooled brown leather skiver and also bears a presentation plaque dated 1929, above a large central drawer with a rich walnut interior bearing label for Francis Smith, flanked by four smaller graduated drawers with brass swan neck handles to each pedestal, all drawers have a rare locking mechanism,
The desk also has panelling to each side and is finished in a rich straight grain walnut,
Terminating on a plinth base.
