Description

Fine quality late 19th century Japanese bronze censer,c1880. Well cast and heavy at 0.6kg it has great shape and form. The main body has lovely scalloped decoration and stands on 4 legs which are topped with leaf decoration. The pierced lid is topped with a flower finial. The bronze has taken on great colour/patina following many years of handling and use. Overall condition is good there is a small historic repair to the underside of the lid but this is very minor.
