Fine quality 19th century Japanese miniature chest of drawers / box,c1890. This is a well constructed and beautifully decorated example with stylised handles and lacquer/gilt flower and foliage decoration over all sides except the base. The lock and handles are also beautifully made, sadly there is no key. Overall condition is good with just minor surface marks and signs of use. It has a lovely decorative quality and would make a great jewellery box.
