Interesting brass and copper jardiniere of european art nouveau style (arts and crafts, jugendstil, viennese secession). It has the original zinc liner. The use of tubes of square or flat section, the small perforated plates decorating the spacers are reminiscent of the work of Gustave Serrurrier-bovy. Unsigned, probably Belgian or Austrian work.Date1920s
