Description

Large late 19th.c. plaster bust of a gentleman c.1890. Standing 29" tall. A heavy set gentleman with in a high collar and coat on the lapel of which is worn a cross-shaped medal. Unfortunately the subject is unknown but the hair and clothing is in the early 19th.c. style suggesting a portrait bust of a notable figure. Raised on an 8" diameter plinth. Presented as found, missing a small portion from the tip of one shirt collar, otherwise very good condition.
