Small Welsh Fruitwood Rocking Chair c.1820
Description
Lovely little early 19th.c. vernacular Welsh fruitwood rocking chair c.1820. Slatted backrest and straight arms over a board seat (height 16"). Note the chamfered detail to the edges of the front and rear stiles. With stretchers to each side for strength and raised on the original curving rockers. Excellent original condition and superb colour to the timber. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.Dimensions: Width 19½" Height 36" Depth 22".
