Description

Quality maritime or ship's barometer by the English makers Russell of Norwich. Mercury stick barometer in a polished brass case. Engraved silvered gauge for reading the barometric pressure and predicting the weather. Plus a spirit thermometer mounted on the front of the case. Mounted on a gyroscopic gimble designed to keep the barometer vertical at sea. Named for Russell on the plate. Sadly the company stopped production in 2022. Excellent working condition.
