Fabulous French fairground carousel pig c.1910. Unsigned but very much of the style and quality of the great French carousel builder Gustav Bayol (1859-1931). Beautifully carved and painted wooden pig with a saddle, glass eyes and a metal curly tail. Presented as found with a split across the back of the body, old wear and repairs.
