Description

Good set of six William IV mahogany dining chairs c.1835. Backrests with broad curved tops with crisp carved detail and veneered in highly figured flame mahogany over a horizontal reeded stretcher. Shaped rear stiles and side rails. Reeded, turned and tapering front legs in the manner of Gillows. Seat height 18″, the loose seat pads covered in a serviceable flatweave fabric (reupholstery can be arranged). Frames are in excellent condition, solid and sturdy cleaned and polished in our workshops.
