Description

Late 19th.c. burr walnut medicine chest c.1890. Lift the lockble lid to reveal the original fitted interior with leather lining to the lid embossed in gilt for Thompson & Capper Homeopathic Chemists of Liverpool Birkenhead and Manchester. Two small mahogany lined drawers in the front with original dividers, held closed with a brass pin running through the drawer fronts accessible only when the lid is open. Burr walnut veneers and original flush fitting brass drawer handles. Original hinges, lock and key.
Dimensions: width 11¼”, depth 8″, height 7″.
