Description

Unusual late 19th.c. brass standard lamp c.1890. Probably originally a stand for an oil lamp converted for electricity. Bulb raised on a brass tube column which also supports an 11½” diameter wine table with repoussé decoration in the shape of a flower head and a raised and scalloped edge. On a circular plinth with reeded and moulded detail and three large lion’s paw feet. Some minor damage to the edges of the table and plith. Otherwise excellent condition cleaned rewired and PAT tested.
Dimensions: height to bulb 67″, width & depth at base 15″.
