Description

Fabulous and rare silver plated Art Nouveau style standard lamp c.1900. Three bulbs and the original shade holder raised on a column with shaped brackets and turned fittings. On a beautiful tripod base with long organic plant form supports and whiplash shaped brackets over a domed centre embossed with a pattern of pomegranate fruit. Raised on swept segmented legs with scrolling detail and pad feet. Superb quality and a good weight, plated on solid brass and stamped with a registered design number on the feet. The silver has been rubbed through in places, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned, rewired and PAT tested.
