Description

Good late 19th.c. example of the classic Regency style gilded eagle wall mirror c.1880. 13″ diameter convex mirror within a deep moulded frame with ebonized slip and applied ball decorations. Topped with a very impressive gesso work eagle perched with its wings outstretched on a rocky outcrop. Further pierced gesso work frieze below the mirror. Generally very good condition with some minor wear and retouching.
Dimensions: width 20″, depth 4″, height 34″.
