Description

Impressively large mid 20th.c. Japanese watercolour Kakejiku or hanging scroll c.1960. An imagined Oriental landscape of mountains and clouds, forest, a river gorge and traditional houses amongst tree blossom. Painted in watercolour on a single sheet of paper measuring 34″ x 64″. Stamped and signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner. Presented within a silk border in a black lacquered wooden frame with perspex glazing.
Dimensions: width 41″, depth 2″, height 80″.
