Description

Colourful Medieval style printed tapestry panel. A frantic scene of a noble family attempting to flee by ship from advancing troops on horseback armed with long spears. In the foreground the king, or a prince perhaps, is impaled through the chest plate of his suit of armour whilst in the background another ship sinks bow first. Screen printed onto a course woven cloth and backed with hessian. Excellent condition.
