Large modern woven wool tapestry wall hanging. An unusual scene with lots of detail, men on horseback in the foreground admiring the buildings of a fine Medieval or Northern Renaissance city. Nicely observed trees and fauna plus further figures in the middle distance. Floral border to the top and sides whilst the bottom edge features frieze of Classical figures. Very good condition with a padded or quilted texture.
