Description

Gorgeous little early 19th.c. Irish or Celtic harp c.1830. Standing just three feet tall, in the style of the great John Egan’s ‘portable’ harps but without his celebrated tuning mechanism in the column. Japanned or ebonised lacquered frame with hand painted gilt decoration of floral patterns on the sides and shamrocks running up the soundboard. Original unrestored condition.
Dimensions: width 21″, depth 10″, height 36″.
