Description

Extraordinary late 19th.c French wedding souvenir display of a bride’s tiara headdress decorated with silk leaves and scores of wax myrtle flowers. An exceptional example of the form, mounted on a red plush cushion decorated with gold thread and tassels on an elaborate brass wirework stand further embelished with flowers, lovebirds and an oval mirror plate. Presented on an ebonised plinth under a large glass dome.
