Description

Impressive large doll’s house by the great British toy manufacturer Triang. This particular model was Hamley’s catalogue number DH/82 and is thought to only have been available for one year from 1934. Large three storey Tudor style mansion topped with red rooftiles and distinctive ‘Mayflower’ chimneys. The front folds open in two pieces to reveal eight rooms with original wallpapers. Some charming original fittings remain including hanging light fittings, curtains fireplaces, a sink and even a mounted stag’s head! Original metal framed opening windows, sundial, door knocker and removable front steps. With a drawer in the base. General wear and missing the window frames from the sides and drawer knobs, otherwise very good condition. Original Triangtois label to the rear. Raised on later feet.
