Description

Splendid early 20th.c. British army officer’s dress uniform jacket c.1910. Black worsted wool with a wide gold trim and an impressive row of brass beeds to the centre. Regiment unknown but if anyone out there can identify it we’d love to know. There is a doubtless a clue in the collar badges which feature the royal motto ‘Honi soit qui mal y pense’ a crown and the initials CTS. The three pips on the shoulder are for the rank of captain. One of the epaulettes retains a George V brass button. In good condition with general wear and missing two pips and a button. Presented on a table top dummy.
