Description

Impressive Regency mahogany serving sideboard c.1820. Bow fronted, with two long central drawers flanked by two drawers to the left and a large bottle drawer to the right. Mahogany veneered top with bands of crossbanding to the border inlaid with ebony stringing. Crossbanded edge with a slim raised moulding across the middle. Symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneers to the drawer fronts with the same raised moulding applied and good quality brass handles. With four splendid projecting turned column pilasters across the front over tapering reeded legs, all repeated at the rear corners. Some minor wear to the veneers, otherwise very good condition and excellent colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
