Description

Very smart late 19th.c. marble top commode or linen press c.1880. Original white marble top over a single drawer and a two door cupboard fitted with three open drawers inside. Highly figured flame mahogany veneers arranged to make a symmetrical pattern across the drawer and door fronts. Shaped front to the drawer which is continued on the sides of the cabinet. Lovely detail of plant forms inlaid in contrasting wood to the moulded border around the doors. Internal drawer fronts, sides and plinth veneered to match. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
