Description

Impressively long marble top glazed display cabinet c.1950. Unusual dimensions being 95" long and just 12" deep. White marble top with a brass edge moulding and pierced gallery to the sides and rear. Cabinet glazed at the front and sides with two sliding plate glass doors at the centre and (unusually) doors at both ends. Fitted inside with a single row of plate glass shelves (depth 9"), the back lined in a padded cream satin. Moulded mahogany frame with brass flower head roundel mounts and crossbanded uprights. Note the quality brass frames and full length hinges to the end doors. Raised on eight square tapering legs with fluted detail, decorative brass mounts and brass feet. Minor damage to the gallery toward the left hand end at the rear. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
The marble top, centre doors and shelves can be removed for delivery.
